Three Gorges Project Team Roles

Leader
  • Keep team on time and on task
  • Review the Project Description Sheet regularly to make sure the team is completing task correctly
  • Collect and organize all materials
  • Help team members problem solve productively
  • Organize the distribution of tasks for each location
  • Complete Daily Progress Report at the end of each work period.

Technical Consultants (1-2 Team Members)
  • Help team decide on resource needed
  • Consult Internet and advise team
  • Consult resources and advise team

Recording Officer
  • Records facts/notes on data collecting sheets or supervises others as they record information

Quality Control/Communications Officer
  • Consult rubric often and advise team on adjustments needed to improve quality of mission task
  • Review mission task and make sure it is complete
  • Ask Project Coordinator (teacher) for help when the whole team does not know how to proceed

Negotiations Officer
  • Refers to Teamwork Skills Sheet often and advises team on strategies to try to keep team working cooperatively and productively.
  • Complete Teamwork Evaluation Sheet at the end of each work period using the language on the Teamwork Skills Sheet.
